• Lighter, more compact, more affordable
  • Rigging cord included
  • Degree Dam Mat included
  • Rig in under 5 minutes

When a partner can't walk out, your options are usually bad ones — leave them in the snow or try to drag them on a jacket. I built this tarp from premium DuPont Tyvek because it's slick enough that one person can pull an adult across snow, and tough enough to trust with the job. Inflate the Degree Dam Mat that is included. Pass two avalanche shovel shafts through the tarp's sleeves, rig the 800 lb UHMWPE cord, and you have a working sled in about five minutes — before your friend gets too cold.

If you damage the tarp during a real rescue, get a free replacement in exchange for photos and video taken of the rescue.
